Matt is available for a wide range of work, both as a journalist or providing PR assistance.
As a journalist, Matt has extensive experience of writing for an online audience and has studied the way in which writing on the internet differs to writing for ‘traditional’ news outlets.
While working as editor on Crash.net, Matt also utilised online resources such as Google Analytics to examine online trends and is well versed in using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques to use the best keywords possible and ensure maximum online exposure for written articles.
Having spent the majority of his career working online, Matt is able to turn news and stories around quickly and is able to work to stringent deadlines – after all, when it comes to the internet, there are no deadlines, everything has to be done immediately for maximum effect.
Matt also has working knowledge of producing audio reports to complement written work, and the ability to produce broadcast quality audio ready for delivery.
In terms of PR, Matt is able to produce press releases to fit a target audience and deliver those releases promptly to both the media and sponsors alike. Written copy for individual websites can also be produced, while Matt is also happy to provide a ghost-writing service if required.
